A last-minute Halloween dinner can go very wrong. This one did not. K Dragon was a spur-of-the-moment pick, the food landed fast, and the service was terrific from start to finish.

I got the Garlic Butter Fried Noodle with Fried Chicken, and it delivered on every front. The chicken had a proper crunch but stayed juicy and tender underneath, and the noodles were cooked perfectly, glossy with garlic butter and impossible to stop eating. No tricks, all treat. It hit the spot in a way that made the whole night feel planned.

Verdict: Quick, friendly, and seriously satisfying. A dragon worth hoarding as a go-to.
